Successful Hackathon and Fablab on Blockchain and Advanced Technologies

On March 30, the Hackathon and Fablab in Blockchain and advanced technologies were held, framed in the training activities of the DIGITEC project.

This event had the purpose of developing training activities for the transmission of knowledge in said digital technologies.

Carried out in the facilities of the I+D+i Multipurpose Building, in Salamanca (Spain), it was organized by the BISITE research group. The Hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Pedro Nunes Institute (IPB), took place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the participants had to develop Smart Contracts that optimize or solve a current problem. Subsequently, the Fablab was developed from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in this last challenge the students were asked to develop a platform where to apply the solution to the challenge posed in the morning.

The objective of this conference was to collaborate on certain blockchain and computer programming developments, and in this way assess, together with teammates, the economic and legal viability.
